with the hair ornaments, she looks more like a maiko! (apprentice geisha) since the only ornaments geisha wear are an ivory or tortoiseshell comb on the crown of their head & a bamboo tie on the back of their hair that's usually white.
Maiko wear more ornaments, like kensashi & are ornamental & flashy. Geisha are more subdued & subtle.
I don't mean to offend but anything written by author golden is a joke, especially memoirs of a geisha, which he twisted into an erotic fantasy that stereotyped geisha/maiko even more.
Still pretty art! all your art is amazing
